Olds Minor Hockey Resident players, if you try to register after July 29th, you will need to email registrar@oldsminorhockey.com first. We will only accept your registration if we have room in the division that you are registering for. If the division is full you will be put on a wait list. You will not be guaranteed to play in OMHA if you register late.
Click here for the 2025 - 2026 Registration Fee Rates. There is a change in how AA fees are being charged for the 2025-2026 season. When you register it will show the base rate amount (mainstream fee for that age division). If your player makes the team the remaining fee will be added before the October 15th payment date and your monthly payments will increase.
Continued for 2025-2026: Discounted Mainstream Goalie Registration
In order to encourage more of our athletes to participate as Goalies and to alleviate some of the financial hurdles to playing the position, all Mainstream (Non-AA) will receive a 50% discount on their OMHA Registration fees. Please, contact the OMHA Registrar at registrar@oldsminorhockey.com that you have registered and the discount can then be applied.
If Goalies tryout for the AA teams and are unsuccessful in making the team, they will receive the discounted rate, once they have been released back to mainstream and future payments will be adjusted accordingly.
AA Tryout Registration
Registrations for the Regional 'AA' teams will open on June 1st, 2025. The fees are in the link above
Player Movement Request
If your home association is not Olds (and your player has a Hockey Canada number) you are required to use a current player movement form to play in Olds. Have your home association president sign it and check the correct request and email it to registrar@oldsminorhockey.com. You can contact the registrar to let Olds know that you have a player wanting to play in Olds even if you haven't received the completed player movement form from your home association. If contacted prior to July 1st you will not have to pay the late fees (it will be adjusted after you can complete your registration) These will be approved once registration closes. You will be contacted once that occurs with the decision and further directions. If you have questions regarding this process please email registrar@oldsminorhockey.com
First Time Registering in Minor Hockey
There has been a change to how HCR Profiles (numbers) are created for new participants who have NEVER registered in a Hockey Canada sanctioned program before. It is important to note that HCR Profiles will no longer be created through Respect in Sport. New Participants will be required to enter their HCR number in to Respect Group when they sign up for certification. Please click the button below for more information.
Any families or participants who have previously registered with a Hockey Canada sanctioned program and are looking for their HCR number can log in to their Spordle Account (create one if necessary) to log in to their profile and obtain their number.
Jersey Bond Cheques
A $300 Jersey Bond Cheque will be required from each Player at the start of the season. Cheques are to be postdated to March 15, 2026 and will be collected by team managers when the jerseys are distributed to the players. Cheques will be destroyed upon receipt of both the Home and Away jerseys at the end of the season. Cheques will only be cashed in the event the jerseys are not returned, or returned in poor condition.
