Why do I need an Online Registration Account?

 

The purpose of setting up this account is three fold:

  1. To ensure that your information is secure
  2. To provide you with your own web page where you are able to login, change your password, re-print your receipt, and keep track of what you have registered in.
  3. To be able to login with the same account, season after season.
    If you have used Hockey Canada’s Online Registration System to register for another organization, you may use the same account to register for Olds Minor Hockey Association BUT YOU MUST USE THE WEB LINK PROVIDED BY OMHA.

 

Is my Online Registration Account the same as my Hockey Canada eHockey account?

 

No, the Online Registration Account and eHockey accounts are two separate accounts.  Unles you have registered participants using the Hockey Canada Registry or created an account specifically for it you will have to create another new account.  You can use the same username and password as your eHockey account.

How do I create my Account?

 

If you have registered online with Hockey Canada in the past, you would have already created an account with your email address and password while setting up your Online Registration Account.  You can simply login with that same account to register in this season.

 

If you have never registered online with Hockey Canada, you can create an Account by accessing the Online Registration website and clicking on click here to create an account.

 

Is online registration/payment safe?

 

Using online registration and payment is absolutely safe. Hockey Canada secures your personal information from any unauthorized use. We secure your personal information such as names and phone numbers by protecting it through the use of the industry standard 128-bit Encryption using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

How do I find my child's hockey id?

You do not need to enter your child's hockey ID to register him/her.  All you need is the participants first and last names and their birthday.  You can find your child's hockey id through your Hockey Canada eHockey account.  If you have not signed up for this account you can do so here:

What is the cost to register my child for the 2017/18 season?

When do I need to register my child for the next hockey season to be eligible for the early bird discount?

 

Register your child online, for the 2017/18 hockey season, before July 15th, 2017 to be eligible for the early bird discount.

I am being charged per player for the participation opt out fee instead of per family.  How do I correct this?

 

Due to the way the system works, when you choose any Participation Fee Opt Out package, the participation fee will be added per participant (instead of per family) but then adjusted for before the final checkout process.  Once you click the checkout button the fee adjustments will be made.

Can I pay with cheques or cash?

 

No, for the 2017/18 season, OMHA is only accepting online payments.

Can I pay in installments?

 

Yes, you can choose to pay in full or with three equal payments.  These payments will be charged to your form of payment on July 15th, September 1st and November 15th.

I attempted to register online but the Register button is showing unavailable.  What do I need to do?

 

Members who are new to OMHA (but exist in a different association) will not be able to register online until the member is transferred to OMHA.  If you attempt to register online, the Register button will show unavailable.  In order to register online, you will need to first be transferred to Olds Minor Hockey.  To transfer a member to OMHA you will need to (depending on your situation) either submit a

How do I know my registration is confirmed?

 

Once you’ve successfully completed the payment process, the registration will be complete.   You will see a message stating your transaction was successful and thanking you for your registration.

I could not print my invoice/confirmation page. Is there a way of printing my invoice after I have already registered?

Yes.  If you log back into the Hockey Canada Online Registration site, you will receive a listing of all of your Registrants and you will be given the option to view and print the receipts from there.

 

I forgot my password.  How do I find it?

 

Click on the “Forgot your password” link located on the Hockey Canaada Online Registration page.  You will be asked to enter the email address you use to login.  The password will be emailed to you.
